Ok, so you're one of these people that doesn't have a lot of fun friends. Not to sound mean, but it's probably because you're not the funnest person yourself. Consider this...everytime you do something out of the ordinary, do you talk about it forever? Do you talk about your problems a lot? Ok, here's the tips you've been waiting for:
1. First of all, smile! Not only does it make you feel good, it will make other people feel good!!
2. Before you say something, think about it and put yourself in the shoes of the person you are going to say it to. If it sounds weird in any way, don't say it. If it sounds funny, do.
3. Don't worry about life so much, that doesn't mean that you should go around doing crap just so people don't think you don't care about life.
4. Be confident about yourself.
5. Laugh at yourself. And no, this doesn't mean laugh at a joke you made when no one else is laughing, it means take yourself less seriously and loosen up. If you laugh when you mess up, it lightens up the crowd.
6. NEVER be mean or talk bad about anyone...believe me on this one...even the people that swear they will never tell...TELL.
7. Be creative. Don't be one of those:"oh, she shops at PacSun for all her clothes." kind of person.
8. Pick up a talent that people will always be astonished at.
9. One thing that makes some people boring is the way they talk. "Uh, hello. How are you?" is the wrong way. Put more energy into that greeting.
10. If you are going to make jokes, you have to have the right timing. If someone burps, it's not funny saying "Well put." or "Really?" a minute after it happened. you have to be at the right place at the right time.
* Don't concentrate too hard on it. Remember...just have fun with your life. In a reasonable manner that is.
* Surprise people if you are the type who doesn't say much and no one seems to realize.
* If there is someone you would love to be like, pick up their little ways and incorparate them in to your everyday communication to make you seem more interesting.
* It's all about confidence and self belief - ask yourself what are you good at. Everyone is good at something, even if its as small as loving music.
* Work your way to your goal, and keep up your grades, then you'll be judged for what you did - not what you said!
